People are supported to live as independently as possible, taking part in social and leisure activities that enrich their lives and build on independence.At Hedera House people are supported to lead active lives and take part in a wide range of activities both in the community and in the service. This includes swimming, arts and crafts, day centre activities, trips to the cinema, weekly meals out and many more activities.What experience do you need You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions.
