Job Description

My client is a family run utilities service business who has been in the business for 50 years.Due to expnsion and growth, they are looking to hire a Project Planner to join the team.Duties for the Project Planner:Working under the direction of the Project Manager.

  • Accountable for the production, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project plans
  • Must have strong Primavera P6 experience
  • A clear level of planning control, governance, and reporting.
  • Plan resource levelling to smooth out resource overloads, future forecasting of resourcing and produce a cost analysis report against budget.
  • Ensure Programme Integration, identification of issues and identify solutions
  • To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach.

  • Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings, PMIs, and compensation notices).
Key Responsibilities for the Project Planner:
  • Adding value by challenging the plan where required, liaise with the project team and report at all levels.
  • The production, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project plans
Skills and Experience for the Project Planner:
  • HNC minimum in an Engineering Discipline.
  • A minimum three years experience as a construction project planner.
  • A good working knowledge of various standard forms of contract including NEC, CSCS
