Job Description

Product Manager - TravelThis bespoke family owned travel company have big plans for expansion and are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join them on their exciting journey. In this newly created role the Product Manager will be pivotal in devising the growth and strategy plan for the product portfolio across Europe.Product Manager - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Development of the growth strategy for product development and compilation of destinations, suppliers, and product to be featured.
  • Contracting new properties and building relationships with local ground agents.
  • Build on and nurture existing supplier relationships.
  • Ensure website is up to date with all new product and creation of online content for new properties.
  • Provision of reports on contracting position & execution of strategy.
  • Ensuring accurate & timely loading of contracts.
  • Active involvement with day to day queries from suppliers and taking a pro-active stance to resolving enquiries quickly.
  • Communication of newly contracted properties to wider business.
  • Day to day responsibility of the product team.
    • Product Manager - Skills & Experience Required:
  • Product & contracting experience gained within the travel industry is essential, with a desirable 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with a proven ability to negotiate contracts both directly with private owners, suppliers and local agents.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated team player, willing to assume a wide range of responsibilities in this expanding start up business.
    • Product Manager - Additional Information:
  • Remote working in the short term but thereafter mix of home and office based in Kent.
  • Salary according to experience but circa £27k to £30k.
