Job Description

Location: NorwichSalary: £50,000 - £60,000Summary:This leading Logistics company within the UK Haulage and Warehouse sector are looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee the business operations and develop the profitability and growth of the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full suite of logistics services including transport, warehousing and other value added activities
  • Manage the operational staffing levels , motivation and development of 250 people
  • Control Health and Safety on site
  • Prepare and implement business plans and annual budgets
  • Drive commercial compliance and effectiveness and establish a continuous improvement culture
  • Full P&L responsibility for both open and closed book contracts
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Commercially astute and held responsibility for P&L and budget management
  • IOSH or equivalent
  • International CPC holder
  • Results orientated
  • Extensive operational experience of logistics services
  • Leadership and management of multi-functional teams
