Job Description

phs Wastekit Strategic Business Development Manager - NationalAs a Strategic Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key part in building our brand recognition and our customer base across the UK. You are a forward-thinking new business manager with excellent knowledge of and experience in the UK waste market. You have worked alongside local and national waste companies to produce a seamless waste disposal solution - good industry contacts are vital.A day in the life of a Strategic Business Development Manager at phs Wastekit will involve;

  • Hunting for new business customers through own lead generation
  • Guiding customers through the design, development and installation of their waste disposal equipment
  • Developing long term relationships with our customers
  • Communicating with internal business colleagues (core sales team, internal sales team, sales director, ops and marketing)
    • The ideal candidate for a Strategic Business Development Manager at phs Wastekit will have:
  • A successful track record in national business development
  • Experience of selling in the waste market
  • Strong local and national contacts in the waste sector
  • The ability to work successfully with a diverse range of customers
  • Tenacity, drive, self-motivation and resilience - a true hunter mentality
    • In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:
  • Base salary of £40k to £50k and average take home £70k including commission and bonus
