Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and dynamic team.*** Primary SEN Teaching Assistant*** £70 - £80 per day*** ‘Good’ primary school, Smethwick*** Immediate start, until July 2024*** 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needsAt this school, they foster an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and supports every childs unique journey. they are committed to providing exceptional education and nurturing the individual needs of their pupils, particularly those withSpecial Educational Needs (SEN).As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one or group support to pupils with SEN, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials to suit students abilities and learning styles.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff members to monitor progress and implement interventions.
