If you enjoy Customer Service, are professional and comfortable liaising with customers, managers and engineers over the telephone,have great organisational and administrative skills, and are looking for a good career then this is the opportunity for you.This is a customer service based role where you will need exceptional communication skills, coupled with great administrative knowhow and computer literacy. The role will be ideal for someone who is organised and logistically minded as you will be helping to plan the daily workload for our engineers.Due to the location of our offices, this role would be suitable for someone with a driving licence and their own transport, although if using public transport, the local train station (Smethwick Galton Bridge) is only a 1015 minute walk from our offices.Main PurposeThe Regional Operations Controller will carry out all phs Wastekit service administration and respond to customer enquiries in as timely a manner as possible. They will liaise closely with the Operations Controller Supervisor and Field Service Supervisors tokeep them informed of issues arising, and support Service Engineers as required.A day in the life of a Regional Operations Controller for phs Wastekit

• To receive and record incoming telephone enquiries from customers and to personally resolve where appropriate, dealing effectively to ensure that customer requirements are met appropriately.
• Working with the Field Service Supervisors to plan the work of all designated service engineers on a day-to-day basis, using the scheduling system or routing visits manually.
• Create additional visits according to customer requests, ensuring these are planned into an engineers schedule in a timely manner. Liaising with customers to ensure they are kept up to date with the progress of their call.
• To schedule logged calls in accordance with individual customer Service Level Agreements.
• Clear down routes completed by engineers, inputting callout charges, labour charges and charges for replacement parts used as required.
• Prepare quotations for repairs and supply them to the customer as per their requirements and keep accurate, organized records of quotes and acceptances.
• Assist with Key Account customers administration requirements regarding the logging of work and the reporting of work done or due to be done. This includes using their contractor website portals where necessary.
• Support Service Engineers by ordering materials and equipment from external suppliers as required.
• Accurately file paperwork received from Service Engineers either electronically or by post, to allow invoicing procedures to be conducted smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate for the Regional Operations Controller position with phs Wastekit

• Youll have great communication skills and in particular a good telephone manner.
• Experience in helping customers over the telephone with professionalism and a focus on customer care, listening and paying close attention to details.
• A methodical and organised approach to enable work to be completed in a swift and efficient manner with good administrative skills.
• The ability to schedule tasks in an efficient and cost-effective manner, and to work to deadlines.
• Suitable computer literacy with the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly.
