Job Description

Western International Group (WIG) is a multi-national conglomerate established 30 years ago in Dubai, UAE. WIG is a successful holding group with a collection of highly diversified international enterprises. Their products are sold in over 90 countries with an annual turnover in excess of over $ 2.5 billion. The product portfolio ranges from home appliances, homeware, kitchenware, baby products, travel and luggage accessories, etc.WIG launched their operations in the UK based in Birmingham in 2018 across multiple sales channels. Despite recent challenging conditions, they have achieved a revenue in excess of £5m in 2020 and are on target to double that for 2021. WIG is now ready to embark upon their ambitious expansion plans to grow their market share in the UK. With projections to grow their E-Commerce business significantly over the next 5 years they are currently at a major milestone of their digital growth road map.Main Purpose of the Job:We are looking for a driven, motivated marketplace executive to increase our sales on these channels, ensuring the best return on investment.You will be working with a team of marketplace associates, you would require using a range of tools and techniques to drive optimum conversion on all online marketplace channels.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage online marketplaces accounts.
  • Uploading and listing products on various online platforms.
  • Product content writing and optimise listings to increase sales conversion.
  • Generate sales and grow the business in line with our KPIs.
  • Reporting on the performance of our current marketplace’s stores.
  • Responsible for managing marketplaces and promotional ads to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Performing competitor and trend analysis.
  • Job requirements, education and skills required:
  • Must have experience within a similar role, taking accountability of the overall sales channel growth.
  • Working knowledge of marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay
  • A demonstrable track record of success on marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical and verbal communication skills along with MS Office.
