Job Description

Graphic DesignerSmethwick, West Midlands£26,000 - £28,000My client is an importer and manufacturer of head-to-toe workwear and safety solutions, supplying to the construction, manufacturing, and engineering sectors with the aim to cater for the working environments of today and the future.Due to an upcoming rebrand, they are looking for a creative but methodical graphic designer to join their Marketing division to support in the visual definition and evolution of their brand and product range. The successful candidate will ideally have experiencedesigning print and product packaging alongside graphic creation for marketing campaigns.The Role

  • Create visual content for both digital and traditional platforms from social media to product brochures and flyers
  • Writing relevant copy alongside visual elements
  • Responsibility for designing header cards, tags on garments, product colours, and key branding decisions
  • Work alongside the Head of Commercial to develop and improve brand and product identity
  • Heavy involvement in the creation of the annual 400+ page brochure
  • Liaise with agencies in the creative production of POS
  • Manage email marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Evolve existing packaging and product designs
The Candidate
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products, especially InDesign
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently towards deadlines
  • Experience in a B2B environment is desirable
  • Experience designing for packaging is highly advantageous
