GiGroup are recruiting for a company based in Halesowen require Flexible and Adaptable Food Production Operatives to start ASAP.Hours & Pay rates- 7am-7pm- £11p/h 7pm-7am- £13p/hBased in the heart of Birmingham city centre we are working with an innovative vitamin manufacturer; who seeks food production operatives to start asap. Experience in catering, food manufacturing and production would be a great advantage.We are working with 3 departments, cleaning, cooking and printing.Cleaning - -Washing and cleaning moulds and syringes with accuracy to get back in to the cycle of the operation-Proactively keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked-Maintain quality and productivity at a high standard-Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and faults reported immediately-Working in a fast pace environmentCooking --Follow recipes and/or product direction for proper food preparation-Ensure that product quality and presentation always meet company standards-Maintain quality and productivity at a high standard-Measuring and weighing all ingredients. -Attention to detail and quality must be at the highest.-Perform visual quality checks as well as using an automated system for quality controlPrinting-Managing 1-5 3D printing machines at once-Working in a fast pace environment -Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed: wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating -and checking temperature of products-Perform visual quality checks as well as using an automated system for quality control-Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and faults reported immediately-Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of the products-Operate the packing machinery - the flow wrapper-Setting up flow wrap machine with correct materials and loading products onto the machine belt-Manual carton / box assembly-Order packing within designated area; packing the finished product in boxesCandidates must maintain high quality standards at all times.
