Job Description

SPR Careers are proud to be working with a public sector client to recruit for anContact Centre Support Officeron a temporary basis with potential for extension.This role involves delivering an enhanced customer experience that promotes wellbeing to local people in their local communities. The ideal candidate will have experience within a busy Contact Centre environment.A contact center representative plays a crucial role in maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. This position involves handling inbound or outbound calls to assist customerswith their inquiries and concerns.Working Instructions:Hours: 37 Hours per weekLocation: SmethwickRate of Pay: £11.18Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Make outgoing calls to follow up on customer issues, conduct surveys, or provide information.
  • Listen to customer concerns and resolve issues by providing accurate information, troubleshooting problems, or escalating complex issues to a higher authority.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures
  • Follow all relevant legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Manage call volume efficiently to minimize hold times and ensure customer satisfaction
Essential Criteria and Qualifications:
  • GCSE English and Maths / equivalent qualifications required
  • Standard DBS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with call center technology.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment..
