Are you a Band 5 or newly qualified OT who would like to develop your experience in Mental Health Services Are you ready to expand your clinical skills We want to recruit an enthusiastic Band 5 to this post.Post:Full-time Junior (Band 5) Occupational TherapistBase:Cygnet Raglan House (Female Mental Health) 25 beds.Responsible for:The post holder will supervise a Therapy Co-ordinator, with support by the Band 6 OT.Responsible to:Specialist OT (Band 6) and Head OT (Band 7) onsite, both working part time hours.Hours:40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.Location:Birmingham/Smethwick area, B66 3NDJoin our supportive and friendly team near the lively city of Birmingham and make an application today.With over 150 OTs in the company, we also work together as a large team providing support to each other across the group, with various specialist interest groups to tap into, including Mental Health, Neuropsychiatry, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Sensory Integration, to name a few.Overview of site/Ward: Cygnet Raglan House is a 25-bed high dependency rehabilitation service for women with mental health issues. Patients may also have forensic histories, learning difficulties and other complex needs. The hospital has a further four bed step-down service, allowing for further community integration and focus on daily living skills.As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, treatment and management of patients within the service.In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to service user’s diagnosis and identified needs.
