Job Description

  • Embedded Software Development
  • c£50,000 to £55,000 (plus excellent benefits)
  • Slough, Berkshire
    • The Opportunity:Working for an established Cloud and Telecommunications software provider you will be working on leading network communications across the UK. We are looking for candidates who are experienced Linux and C++ programmers who can be at the pinnacle of 5G communications and other wireless projects across the UK.Skills and Experience:
  • Background in telecoms (3G/4G/5G) would be a distinct advantage but we will consider candidate with strong C programing skills who do not have a telecoms background
  • Candidates must have strong programming skills in a Linux environment (C/C++)
  • Must have a decree in Electronics, computer Science, Telecommunications or similar
  • Proven experience with hardware interfacing and security architecture
  • Protocol experience such as (NETCONF RESTCONF/YANG/SNMP/TR69/MIB)
  • Working knowledge of networking - Layer 2 and Layer 3, 802.3, 802.1, IPv4 and IPv6 is also advantageous
    • Role and Responsibilities
  • Working on a number of 5G projects working closely with others in a fast moving demanding team environment with limited supervision
  • Working on embedded software development for telecommunication systems both wired and wireless.
  • Design, Development and testing wireless solutions for 5G-NR gNB and 4G eNB
  • Candidates must be diligent in in producing documentation and facilitate effective knowledge sharing with other members of staff
