With broad portfolio of top-quality aerospace components for outright sale or exchange,including fuel, hydraulic, ducting, and actuation products.What is the purpose of theSenior Field Service EngineerThis role for the Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) within the EMEA region, has a primary focus on EPMS/DCIM/SCADA projects conducted in the field. The purpose being to deliver exceptional on-site service, guaranteeing utmost customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty. This entails providing comprehensive field service to clients, encompassing hardware/software installation, startup procedures,maintenance, debugging, and training sessions for EPMS, DCIM, and SCADA systems.What will you do as theSenior Field Service Engineer
  • Perform on-site hardware/software installation and pre-configuration of Power Management and control systems, alongside next-generation Power Monitoring platforms.
  • Collaborate with on-site software configuration engineers to execute system integration, installation, startup, maintenance, debugging, pre-configuration, pre-commissioning, FAT, SAT, and training.
  • Assist and offer technical support to junior Field Service Representatives during field assignments, aiding in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Provide technical support to other junior engineers, assisting in problem resolution and supporting the lead engineer with practical solutions and execution plans on-site.
  • Exhibit safety awareness in handling equipment, electrical and electronic procedures, and diverse work site scenarios. Assist in procuring and maintaining PPE for field resources.
  • Deliver timely, detailed, and accurate site reports on service activities, product performance, and warranty liabilities, managing company expenses and time allocation effectively.
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer in training, coaching, and fostering team cohesion.
  • Offer customers basic technical support and on-site information through phone consultations or direct on-site interaction.
Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to customer sites or remote locations for field service assignments.What skills and qualifications will you need as theSenior Field Service Engineer
  • Degree or similar qualification in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of service experience, including 1-2 years in field service for complex engineering projects, demonstrating proficiency in EPMS/DCIM/BMS software, SQL, MS/Linux OS, networking, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a customer-centric focus and adaptability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures. Capable of meticulously following instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace systems, including aircraft components, avionics, propulsion systems, and/or defense systems prefered
