Grow your role.The role of a BI & Data Analyst in the team is to act as the first point of contact with end-users of the data. They take aresponsibility to get real insight into what the end user is trying to achieve with the data and work with the team to support the activity. They see data activities are seen through end to end which means they need to work with other experts in DWH, onand offshore. So you need to have a balance of knowing both sides - technical and business and be a bridge between the 2. Structure is important - you will be great at expressing functional and non-functional requirements so that both the non-technical andthe technical teams get what they need from it.Data is our "thing" in the team.
