Job Description

Operations Manager - South East, (Slough, Berkshire, and on location) £35-40k We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and charismatic Account Manager, ideally from an events, hospitality, entertainment, promotions or sales background who is happy to work unsociable hours and travel within the UK or abroad.Our client is providing Covid19 testing and medical protocol services to the film and media industry and needs an adaptable people person to oversee delivery.Working in a fast-paced and often demanding environment you will need bags of energy and enthusiasm that you can sustain over sometimes long shifts.This new division of a well-established medical services provider is providing solutions to enable the film and media industry to continue with production. Due to the novel nature of the services provided, there is the need to flex, adapt and change, sometimes at short notice, so we need people who can think on their feet and are not a "this is not in my job description" type.You need to be a people person. You will be dealing with a variety of people from production, catering and cleaning crews, through to medical staff, laboratory staff, and possibly the odd celebrity.You will also be the main point of contact for the client and studio executives. You will have to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) as you will be privy to medical check information and what goes on behind the scenes of filming. As this role is people focussed we are looking for a bit of bounce, charisma and enthusiasm in all that you do. Having said that, you will also demonstrate the credibility and gravitas that assures the client you are a "get things done" kind of person. Essential requirements:

  • Exceptional people skills
  • Demonstrable track record in account management
  • A flexible and adaptable, "think on your feet" approach
  • Good organisation and administration skills
  • Good IT literacy
  • A full UK driving licence and own transport
  • This role will be primarily based at Pinewood Studios, Slough, but will also involve travel as location shoots as new contracts demand. Any mileage and accommodation required outside of the usual location will be reimbursed or organised by the employer. This will include working across the UK and also abroad for up for several weeks.You will work 5 out of 7 days on an 8 hour shift which will include weekends, 4am starts and late night finishes.
