Job Description

Part time Nursery Teacher job available from January 2021 Start date: January 2020 Contract type: Part time/job share (0.6 FTE) - Wednesday Thursday and FridaySalary: MPS FringeContract term: Maternity CoverHours 8am - 4pmAre you interested in working within a friendly team of like-minded colleagues who focus on the development of the whole child Would you like to work in a school where childrens needs and interests are put first and supported through quality play based learning experiences within a rich early years environment If yes, then we would like to hear from you.   • We are looking for a nursery teacher who is:
  • An excellent, QTS qualified nursery teacher with successful experience of teaching in a school.
  • A person who has a genuine passion for early childhood development.
  • Able to inspire and support children to become active, independent thinkers and learners.
  • Able to understand and be sensitive to the needs of very young children.
  • A person who has a strong belief in the effectiveness of teamwork.
  • Committed to high standards of teaching and classroom practice.
  • Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, governors and staff.
  • The successful candidate will work in one of our 3 and 4 year old classes as part of a job share with another experienced nursery teacher. Required skills
