Job Description

Field Service Engineer Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 + overtime Monday to Friday Nationwide CompanyAn exciting opportunity has presented itself for a leading distributor and supplier of industrial machinery including crushers and screening equipment. They have a very established customer base that includes industries such as construction, quarrying and recycling. They need someone to join their tight team and continue the growth within the business. The business currently turnover £12million and that is forever growing as they secure more and more customers. The opportunity is covering their customer sites across the UK and will require overnight stay when needed. The client is looking for someone with a solid experience within this type of plant machinery maintenance.Field Service Engineer RoleYour day to day responsibilities as an Field Service Engineer will include:

  • Attend customer sites and carry out maintenance on machinery including, crushers, screening machinery and trailers
  • Commissioning of machinery
  • Assist sales team with any demonstration work needed with new and existing clients
  • Replacement of any worn parts like for like and help reduce downtime.
  • Ensure machinery is running to highest standards

  • A qualification within plant maintenance,
  • Plant maintenance/fitter experience
  • Able to work autonomously and independently
