Job Description

Ambition is working with a unique and dynamic accountancy firm in Slough who are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their firm.The Firm:The accountancy firm has a global presence and has been established over 85 years ago. They have thrived as a business through delivering a tailored service to meet client requisite needs and positive client testimonials. You will be working alongside differentlevels and roles which will allow you to have the broadest exposure. They pride themselves on having a great work culture which is why 25% of their staff have been there over 10 years or more.Your Role

  • Chasing debts for both the accountancy and solicitors firms, when they become overdue.
  • Liaising with clients and colleagues to resolve queries to enable quick payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve any invoicing discrepancies or disputes
  • Hold monthly debtor reviews with all Partners
  • Review aged WIP with Partners on a quarterly basis
  • Utilise available applications (e.g. Chaser) to increase efficiency especially in relation to repetitive tasks that can be automated
  • Calculate and raised interest invoices where appropriate
  • Escalate debts as required, both internally (Partner level) and externally (court claims).
  • Maintain accurate information within finance systems.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on ad-hoc queries
What you need:
  • Systems used- IRIS time and fees, Xero, SOS legal. Previous experience useful but not essential.
  • Previous credit control experience is essential who is organised, has good attention to detail.
  • Confident using excel.
