CK Technical are recruiting for an CADD Lead position to join a pharmaceutical company at their site based in Slough on a contract basis for 12 months.The Company:Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on the treatment of diseases in immunology and neurology.The Location:This role is located on a well-established biopharma R&D facility based in Slough. There are good transport links whether you drive or even use public transport. CADD Lead Role:Key Responsibilities:- Drive IT initiatives requiring a very close collaboration with CADD and Chemistry partners.- Lead the selection and creation of next generation CADD tools- Lead the ideation and introduction of novel applications and software tools- Lead new scientific software development projects through ideation and introduction of novel applications and tools.- Identify and enable technology & opportunities to cover unmet needs for CADD/Scientific applications in Early Solutions.- Mentor a team of software developers based in Bangalore.Your Background:- Masters Degree in IT/Computing Science or Engineering or Technology is a must, with strong background in scientific software development (PhD is preferred).- Modelling/AI data analysis skills using common Data Mining and Machine Learning tools based on Python, JavaScript, R, Julia… (Scientific Programming).- A fast paced, changing environment doesnt scare you. On the contrary, you easily manage the change by adopting to the pragmatic solutions and can handle the complex business problems, thanks to your can-do attitude.- Expertise in technologies such as data visualization, data integration, analytics in research/scientific environment.- Hands on experience with Container for scientific computing, large-scale computing environments, cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Azure, Google, AWS) for scientific application development/and production.- Good understanding of the common CADD research-based scientific computing environment.Apply:For more information or to apply for this CADD Lead position, please contact CK Group, quoting job ref 48173.
