Associate Product ManagerGreat opportunity to learn and progress into a full software product manager role! Flexible for working from home.The role of the Associate Product Manager is to support the Product Managers within the team, whilst beginning to specialise in one particular area of Product Management. They will enable the Product Managers to focus more of their time on the bigger, strategic items, and the opportunity for the Associate Product Manager to learn the Product Management processes and the ways to bring innovation to life with a view to progressing into a full Product Manager role.You will need to come from a software background, and bring lots of passion and energy to the role!You will need a UK driving licence and there will be some travel to the offices in Bedfordshire and to client sites UK wide - this is occasional rather than frequent, but there may be some weeks when you are travelling for a day or two. Overseas travel is also a possibility.Required skills- An awareness of Agile methodologies- Software background with a career goal to become a software product manager- Proven experience in a commercial environment- Ability to operate in both the low level detail, but also understand the high level company and product vision- Ability to represent the company as an SME both from a Supply Chain & Logistics perspective, and a best of breed packaged software perspective- Ability to contribute to overall product vision, ensuring any decisions made are aligned- Ability to work on multiple work items in parallel, prioritising according to deadline, importance, etc.- Self-motivated in learning, taking advantage of any opportunity to gain new experience or skillsThe associate product manager will assist in guiding the design and build strategic items within multiple workstreams in conjunction with the Tech Lead and other Product Managers in this team of 5.Alongside the clear career path, one of the most exciting things about this role is the opportunity to be an innovator.
