Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with this well-known accountancy firm with fantastic modern offices situated conveniently on the outskirts of Slough that are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Accounts Senior tocomplement the existing team.Role Requirements -Responsible for the preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients including larger sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for manager or director review.Discuss work required with the manager/director and communicate downwards to junior team members including time frame and budgetEnsure juniors work is reviewed thoroughlyComplete all sections of the accounts file and ensure all follow up points identified on review are dealt withDeal directly with client to clarify outstanding matterWhere applicable, carry out audit duties to include, completing planning documentation so that audits are carried out effectivelyPerform the role of the senior representative on site and conduct all relationships with the client in a professional mannerUtilise and plan junior staff effectively and oversee their work standardReview/finish audit file to the appropriate standard, suitable for manager reviewPlanning - playing an active part in assisting the manager in audit planningField work - carried out with minimal supervision in accordance with the audit planningCompletion - playing an active part in assisting the manager in completing the fileTax related duties to include corporation Tax computations and submitting the CT600Reviewing data processed by juniors and clear any queries brought upwardsPrepare corporation tax computation for manager/director reviewConsider tax planning opportunitiesPersonal tax - Review data processed by juniors and clear any queries brought upwardsDeal directly with the client to obtain missing information or clarify mattersPrepare tax computation for manager/director reviewP11dsProcess complex client informationReview P11ds prepared by juniors so that they are suitable for final manager reviewSubmit signed forms to HMRCPerson Requirements -You will have at least 4 years experience in a similar Accounts Senior, ideally with some exposure to audit, working for a UK firm of accountants.ACA late stage studying or ACA/ACCA qualified or Qualified by Experience.Proficient in the use of various accounting software such as Iris, Quickbooks, Sage 50, XERO, Virtual CabinetIf you are now considering a move to a more progressive role and supportive firm and would be interested in joining a well-known and well establish brand based out of modern and well serviced offices, please do not hesitate in applying now for this immediatelyavailable opportunity.Butler Rose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Butler Rose Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
