Job Description

The Recruitment Co are urgently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our clients expanding team based in the Neath Area.Contract: PermanentSalary: Up to £28,000Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working 1 day a week on a Wednesday)About the Role:The candidate is required to provide a helpful, knowledgeable and skilled service for our clients customers, asking questions carefully and providing an invaluable service to interpret their requirements into a perfect solution. Guiding, advising and establishingthe customer needs by excellent verbal and written communication. Providing the customer with a suitable quotation and 2D Autocad drawing and nurturing that relationship to ensure they feel we offer a professional and quality service, in tune with their needsand importantly within their budget and specification.Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • To produce autocad drawings (Autocad 2D) to accompany quotes.
  • To assist with customer enquiries.
  • Produce quotations.
  • Follow up quotations.
  • Gather information from customers.
  • Generate quotes and increase the level of quotations.
  • Improve conversion rates.
  • Increase sales.
  • Record data using ODOO CRM system
  • Communicate and work alongside other departments including accounts, dispatch, production etc.
  • Creating good working relationships to ensure internal processes run smoothly.
  • Filing of paperwork.
Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:
  • CAD experience essential
  • Estimating - 4yrs experience required
  • High level of Attention to Detail
  • Strong design skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • CAD Degree level qualification
  • A technical understanding of drawings and manufacturing is highly beneficial.
  • An interest in aesthetics in the built environment and current standards is important to demonstrate the passion and desire to provide the very best solution to our clients, customers and markets.
