An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Toolmaker – Plastic Moulding, based in Skelmersdale to join a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Established in the 1980; they now supply to every Automotive OEM in the UK. This company actively supports the training and development of staff who wish to advance their career. The company employs thousands of staff worldwide; the UK division has 300 staff covering engineering, design, moulding, machining and assembly capabilities.Along with a salary of £35,000 - £38,500 per annum, you will also receive overtime opportunities, up to 6% pension contribution and 24 days holiday plus bank holidays. As a Toolmaker – your duties will include:- Reporting to the Tooling Manager.- Working as part of a team of 10.- Taking responsibility for new and existing tools, repair, maintenance and service - Manufacturing of new mould tools.- Manually milling and CNC Machining / EDM’s.- Fanuc – CNC.An ideal Toolmaker - will hold the following skills and experiences:- Experience within toolmaking – CNC and Manual- Flexible to work shifts – Monday to Friday only- The ability to work the following: Early’s - 06:00-14:00, Lates – 14:00-22:00 and Nights – 22:00-06:00.To apply for this role as Toolmaker, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
