We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to supportprimary schools in Skelmersdale on a supply basis. We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting primary schools in Skelmersdale. As a supply teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across differentschools, providing valuable support to teachers and students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervising students during class activities and outings.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to support student learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
