Job Description

Are you an experienced EYFS Teaching AssistantEnthusiastic about working with and gaining more experience working within Early Year Foundation Stage childrenTeaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to fill current Early Year requirements. We currently have multiple opportunities to work with EYFS children in Sidmouth and the surrounding area. The right candidate will be available to work eitherfull-time or part-time.As an EYFS Teaching assistant you will:

  • Keep the pupils engaged and on task in class
  • Provide support to the class teacher with delivery of the lessons and constructive feedback where appropriate
  • Help pupils one to one and in small groups
  • Deal with challenging behaviour with a calm and professional approach
  • Be sociable and have strong communication skills
  • Willing to adopt responsibilities to help with the day to day running of the school
  • Work with children aged from 1-5 years old
Having experience working with SEND pupils will be beneficial. The right candidates will have the opportunity to progress into long term positions.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well aas the Right to Work in the UK.
