Job Description

Who are weBookieBashing is a multi award winning subscription service for advantage players. We are not tipsters; we provide data, modelling and real time analyses for our members to get a professional advantage in their betting. We are a small and close-knitteam (all remote / home based). This position is initially a part time position but the right candidate has the opportunity to join us in a full time capacity if we hit our growth targets in the future.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our expanding IT Team. Starting in early September 2022 you will be involved in a range of activities central to our day to day operation. This includes bug identification and resolution issues, app/featuredevelopment, IT Support and website / tool maintenance.Hours, renumeration and location

  • We are a small and agile team and so were flexible with working hours
  • To start with were looking for someone to work approximately 60 hours per month at £14-18 per hour (depending on experience). This will hopefully grow in line with performance review and company growth
  • Wed like you to start in early September 2022
Technical experience - Requirements (we really need someone with the following skills)
  • Strong knowledge on the frontendtech stack (JavaScript, Jquery, HTML, CSS)
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Experience building custom WordPress websites from scratch; hence a baseline understanding of PHP
Technical experience - the following is beneficial but not essential
  • Mysql/mongodb
  • Experience with a modern frontend library/framework (React, Vue.js, node.jsetc)
  • CSS libraries, such as Bulma/Bootstrap
