Job Description

Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager on an exclusive basis with a diverse and growing business in East Devon.Reporting into Finance Director level, this is an important role where you will manage a small team and have the opportunity to be involved in business improvement projects and develop your skill set.Key duties will include:

  • Manage, develop and lead a team of 3
  • Responsibility for day-to-day running of the finance function
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Defining and developing reports using excel BI tools and Sage including variance analysis
  • Managing payroll, pension contributions and HMRC submissions
  • VAT returns
  • Continuous process improvement and implementing new financial policies and procedures
  • Cash management and treasury duties
  • Drafting the statutory accounts
  • Managing the external audit
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Assisting in ad hoc tasks and special projects as required
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who is pro-active, driven and motivated.
