Job Description

Our Client are currently offering a great opportunity as a SMART Repair Technicianto join their business based out of their Sidcup dealership. This role is great for someone who has previous Bodyshop experience and are looking to progress their career further.As a SMART Repair Technician, you will play a very important role in achieving our client’s organisational goals.You will be required to have a good all-round knowledge of the role, from alloy wheels to bodywork paint repairs.This role would be ideal for an experienced SMART Technician looking to increase their earning potential.About the Role

  • Remove all dust and other particles from prepared parts
  • Inspect panels for adherence to shop standards for preparation
  • Ensure minimal material wastage by using all available equipment including IT
  • Prepare vehicles or parts of vehicles to the highest quality standard
  • Accurately manage and maintain a colour database
  • Apply abrasives and use hand and power tools in preparing parts for final refinish
  • Examine vehicles and/or parts of vehicles and diagnose non-routine defects using knowledge of the vehicles and technologies concerned
  • Work in accordance with Bodyshop and dealership Health & Safety requirements
  • Take personal responsibility for the daily maintenance of Bodyshop equipment, and reports equipment defects or problems that need attention
  • Attend all specialised training, product knowledge and any other such relevant training that is requested of you
  • Mask/protect any areas adjacent to parts to be prepared
  • About You
  • Relevant experience in a Bodyshop environment
  • Be an experienced SMART Technician
  • A clean, current driving licence
  • Be able to interact with customers to deliver a great service
  • Work efficiently under pressure
  • Be self-motivated and be able to work independently
