Howard Facilities have a full time vacancy covering the local area on a self employed basis. We are a plumbing and heating firm and offer an emergency call out service. The role will involve attending pre-booked customer appointments in the local area for the following; * Boiler breakdowns and fault finding * Boiler servicing and general maintenance * Landlord gas safety checks * Emergency water/gas leaks * General heating and plumbing problems * Some installation work but 95% of jobs will be repairs/maintenance Appointments are booked by the office team and clients are billed an hourly rate for all services. You would be responsible for offering an excellent service for the customer and quality workmanship, and ensuring all work meets MIs and current regulations. *The position is offered with the following;* * Full time role, long term * Company vehicle and fuel card provided (although option to use your own vehicle too) * Company uniform * You would be covered under company insurance and gas safe registration * Friendly and pro-active team * Ongoing support in the form of auditing and training * Excellent levels of work and high earning potential. The position includes guaranteed day rate and also a profit share on appointments which is calculated weekly. Current Howard Facilities engineers earn between £1000 - £2000 Per week. Requirements to be considered for this position; * Must have a minimum 3 years experience domestic boiler breakdowns/fault finding * Must hold valid gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1 etc) * Must have a valid UK driving license * Must have own tools such as hand tools, drills and calibrated analyser * "Can do" attitude, working with honesty and integrity * Good knowledge of the unsafe situations procedures and correctly following procedure on AR/ID situations if encountered. * Must use own phone for work Job
