Job Description

Avenues is a community where people smile, laugh, grow and achieve great things.We are pleased to offer a new opportunity for a Facilities Administrator to join our Facilities team based at our Head Office in Sidcup working 15 hours per week working on a Tuesday and Thursday.In this role you will provide an efficient, effective, and versatile administrative support service to the facilities management function.

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of head office that includes Office management systems and services e.g. telephone, emails and post management, health and safety, and ensuring the security of the building.
  • Ordering of office stationery and office supplies.
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Facilities Manager for key tasks.
  • Management of Facility service contracts, including booking site appointments, liaison with contracts to ensure services provided are planned according to need.
  • Management, and maintenance of Compliance register to evidence Avenues adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Reconciliation of credit card payments.
  • Management of council tax payments.
  • Commercial & Clinical waste reviews.
  • Ad-hoc requests from Group Facilities Manager.
Our ideal candidate looks like this!
  • Experience in a Facilities Administrator role, Office Administrator or similar role
  • Experience of working in a team and management of service contracts.
  • Ability to use of MS teams, MS Office, and other IT based administrative systems
  • Understanding of learning disability and autism, acquired brain injury, and social care.
  • To be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and with external agencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
