PANEL BEATER / COACHBUILDERSalary of the Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder – £30,420pa - £37,440pa depending on experience Working Hours of the Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder - 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (45 hours per week)Location of the Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder - SidcupOur local engineering and body shop client is looking for a Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder to join their team, working on specialist commercial vehicle builds for a wide range of high-profile clients.Responsibilities of a Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder :·Understanding schematics to undertake new-build and vehicle conversions·Using hand tools·Working with steel, aluminium and wood will be required for this role·Removal and refitting of interior and exterior trims, framework and panels·Mechanical fitting and general metal work.·Carry out warranty, transit damage and used commercial vehicle, van and car repairs using factory approved products and techniques·Repairing damaged commercial vehicles in line with the manufacturer’s specificationsSkills and Qualifications of a Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater / Panelbeater / Coachbuilder / Body Builder:·Experience of working on commercial vehicle bodies would be an advantage for this role·Previous Coachbuilding experience would be advantageous·If a panel beater, you will have served a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).·Metalwork or light mechanical fitting experience·Experience working with vehicles or in an engineering environment would be an advantage·A trainee with transferable skills will be considered for this role.·You will also need to know and be aware of the products whilst following the correct repair techniques. ·You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of commercial vehicle repair techniques.Please contact Danica Oraf @ Auto Skills or send CV to Or call – (mobile friendly) .Auto Skills UK – See our website for details.
