Job Description

Robert Half Technology has been selected to recruit for an E-Commerce Developer for an online retail business based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity to be an important part in helping our client to continue its growth.The roleTo ensure that the companys eCommerce solution meets the business needs.Key responsibilities of the E-commerce Developer:

  • The day to day support of our eCommerce solution
  • Measurement and reporting of the performance of the eCommerce platform
  • Operating as the lead on all technical eCommerce related issues, and be a technical advisor to business stakeholders, in particular Marketing
  • Working closely with 3rd party agencies to develop and support the eCommerce platform
  • Develop relationships and engage with vendors and partners
  • In conjunction with Marketing, performing contract and supplier management duties, to ensure SLAs and agreements are adhered to.
    • Key Skills of the role:
  • Building and supporting eCommerce platforms with multi-store functionality and interfaces to a back-end system
  • CMS experience; Magento Commerce or Magento Open Source or WooCommerce and WordPress or Shopify Pro or Sana
  • CSS and HTML
  • eCommerce performance measurement (Google Analytics, Heatmaps, etc.)
  • Experience with production / testing / development environments
  • Managing third parties and ensure that SLAs are met
  • Fault finding, analysis, and resolution
  • Good organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate at all levels / Good stakeholder management
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Project Management skills
    • Salary & Benefits:
  • £35,000 - £45,000
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
