Job Description

We are looking for a full time Customer Service Advisor to join our Housing team on a 6 month interim basis. Were looking for a Employee Experience Project lead to be partof the employee experience team responsible for a number of projects to support our colleagues deliver a great customer experience!ResponsibilitiesAs the first point of contact to our customers, you will be responsible for providing a range of advice and services with the goal of resolving queries on the first call and reducing the need for customers to call back, speak to another person or be passedto a different department. The queries youll be assisting with include:

  • Rent payments and rent accounts queries
  • Repairs and planned maintenance related queries
  • Antisocial behaviour reporting
  • Allocations and void management
  • Housing applications and queries
  • Customer complaints, MP and Councillor enquiries
RequirementsWe are looking for an experienced customer service advisor with a passion for providing excellent customer service and putting the customer at the centre of everything you do. Your experience can be from any sector background but you must demonstrate theability to resolve a high volume of queries via calls and email. You will receive full training on all the above areas by one of our highly experienced team. As well as this, were looking for:
  • A self starter, someone who can work equally as well in a team and unsupervised
  • Confidence dealing with customer complaints
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and timekeeping
  • Someone who can maintain a professional manner and build rapport quickly with a variety of personality types
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Assertive, confident individuals who can deal with objections in a calm manner
  • Good knowledge of office IT systems, e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work 37 hours per week covering 7.5 and 7 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 8pm
