Job Description

Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UKs largest and leading Warehousing & Distribution firms actively seeking a skilled and proven Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee multiple warehousing sites in and around the Bristol areas.Our client offer full Warehousing and Transport services with complete UK wide coverage. They are actively seeking a senior Warehouse Manager with multi-site management experience and strong knowledge and understand of Transport operations.Warehouse Operations Manager Position Overview

  • Reporting to the Senior Management Team, inclusive of board directors, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing and coordinating the warehousing operation and service level agreements
  • Ensure that the operation is running cost effectively, identifying and implementing process improvements, efficiencies, and opportunities for optimisation
  • Manage a team of circa 25+ employees across Warehousing
  • Mitigate risk in current working practices to enable growth within the business
  • Strong background in the Ambient Warehousing and Distribution Industry
  • Responsible for the inventory management through your teams
  • Accountable for staff development within the operation
  • Site H&S control
Warehouse Operations Manager Position Requirements
  • Experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain including experience across both Warehousing & Transport would be an advantage
  • Experience and background in 3PL and 4PL, including e-commerce with fulfilment solutions
  • Experience within a fast-expanding business and change management
  • Experience within 3PL / Haulage environment previously
  • An understanding of BRC and related certifications
  • Must have a strong personality - authoritative & influential
Warehouse Operations Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary Circa £50k DOE
  • Company Car & Fuel Allowance
  • KPI related bonus structure
  • Monday - Friday (circa office hours)
