Job Description

***HOMELESSNESS SUPPORT WORKER ****** COMPLEX NEEDS ******MENDIP ******PART TIME 25h ******£ 15,493 ***Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role within the Homelessness and Supported Housing in Mendip.You will be providing intense and personalised support to minimise tenancy breakdowns and preventing through early intervention the risk of homelessness across 2 locations (Frome & Shepton Mallet).WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Build positive and effective working relationships and agreements with relevant external agencies.
  • Assess the challenges clients are facing and provide effective solutions.
  • Planning to shape and visualise an achievable future, with regular reports and schedules
  • Promote and encourage peer involvement within service
  • Maintain client records that are up to date and accurate
ABOUT YOU:
  • You are HONEST, RELIABLE, CLIENT FOCUSED
  • You fully embrace the motivation and passion to advocate for individuals who have experience homelessness or social exclusion
  • You have effective knowledge of the trauma affecting people with complex needs and the potential impact on peoples physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

MUST:
  • Willingness to work on shifts between 8am to 20pm.
