Quality Assurance Manager Shepton Mallet£Excellent Salary + BenefitsWe are currently seeking a QA Manager for a BRC accredited food manufacturer based in the Shepton Mallet Area area. The company has been in existence for many years and is part of a large Food Group. The successful Quality Assurance Manager will report tothe Head of Technical and manage a small teamQuality Assurance Manager Duties will involve: ·Maintaining the food safety system ·Maintain, review, audit and continuously improve the site quality system in accordance with central policies, customer requirements and BRC standards ·Managing the Company quality management system and HACCP, to conform to BRC standards ·Maintain HACCP plans, review and update, to ensure compliance to all relevant CCPs. ·Ensure prompt resolution of product non-conformance on production quality and process issues. ·Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement. ·Oversee the inspection of incoming raw materials, ensuring they meet quality specifications. ·Driving the move to a paperless system of traceability ·Management of the NPD process and lab/env testing ·Maintaining our supplier approval and specs ·Site hygiene and fabric auditing ·Assist in all H&S duties on SiteQuality Assurance Manager Skills / Experience Required: ·Strong interpersonal and communication skills. ·Ability to use Microsoft packages. ·At least 2 years experience in a quality role within the food manufacturing industry ·A relevant Degree (Food/Science) ideally with Level 4 food safety& Level 3 HACCP. ·Proven experience working with BRC Food Safety Standard and retailer standards. ·In depth Knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and Food Safety Culture.Quality Assurance Manager Salary and Benefits ·Competitive Salary available on application ·Death in Service ·Free Parking ·Free tea, coffee, fruit ·Discounted Products ·+ Many MoreThis role is commutable from Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Wincanton, Dorchester, Street, wells, Bridgwater, Yeovil, and surrounding areas and may suit a person that has previously worked as a QA supervisor, QA Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, QC manager,QA Team leader, QSM, Technical assistant
