If you are an experienced theatre practitioner and want to be part of a professional team that is passionate about providing first class patient care, we would like to hear from you.Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet has been rated Outstanding by the CQC, meaning that you can be sure you are part of a team providing safe, reliable and patient focused care.If you are a practitioner from outside the area there is a generous relocation package available to support you.About the roleSupported by our experienced theatre manager, Heidi you will provide the highest standard of care and safety for patients in the operating theatre suite and PACU (post anaesthetic care unit). You will be competent in all aspects of clinical practice within PACU including maintaining clinical observation of patients, assisting junior staff in the assessment of patients and ensuring that records are accurate and up to date.As an NMC registered Nurse or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner, you will have recent clinical experience gained in a PACU environment alongside sound infection prevention and control knowledge.
