Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Shepton Mallet who are actively looking to recruit an NPD Technologist to join the team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Reporting to the NPD Manager, along with the support of a strong technical team, you will be responsible for a number of assigned projects and ensure they are delivered on time and meet the required brief.What you will need to succeed:

  • You must have a Food Science or Technology degree and/or relevant experience in development or technical skills in a chilled or liquid processing manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing environment, ideally within a variety of liquid categories.
  • HACCP qualification /knowledge would be an advantage and must be fully computer literate.
  • A logical, proactive, and methodical approach.
  • Good MS Excel skills.
What you will receive in return:
  • Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with a 30 mins unpaid lunch break.
  • £30,000 to £35,000 per annum DOE
  • 33 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays).
