Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client near Shepton Mallett, who are actively seeking to engage a Deputy Production lead on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Front line Manager you will assist with the day-to-day accountabilities of a production line and its team of production operatives. Ensuring that the line is run to its correct level of productivity and that yield targets are met whilstensuring that all company policies and health & safety guidelines are adhered to.

  • Maintain a productivity target is achieved and that product is supplied for distribution on time and through full adherence to production plans.
  • Ensure that the Production job sheets, planned each day, are completed for your line with the "standard" agreed with the Factory Manager/Front Line Manager.
  • Ensure we have Guides to Productions and SOPs for all product lines and they are kept in good order.
  • Record absences and report to Front Line Manager.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Previous experience working in Production and FMCG environment.
  • Highly organised and able to ensure that production runs smoothly.
  • Team collaboration.
What you will receive in return:
  • £20,600 per annum, increase after probation.
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm
  • Peak Season: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
