Job Description

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed.This is an excellent opportunity to join a small friendly team within a Company that offers excellent benefits including an early finish on a Friday!Factory Operative Job Details;

  • £8.72 per hour to start increasing to £9.39 per hour after 12 weeks + excellent bonus earning potential
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays increasing after 12 weeks
  • 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 6.30am-3pm & Friday 6.30am-2pm
  • Temporary to Permanent
  • Free parking & Canteen facility on site
    • Factory Operative Role & Responsibilities include;
  • Hand moulding and de-moulding a variety of brick products at a workstation
  • Using various hand tools
  • Ensuring the correct materials are being used
  • Loading products onto drying trucks
  • Recording the amount/type of bricks made each day
  • Working to targets
  • All other associated tasks as required by the Factory Manager.
    • Person Specification;
  • The role involves general labouring so you must be physically fit
  • Able to stand for the duration of your shift and happy to complete repetitive duties
  • Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
  • A good team player
