Entry-Level IT TechnicianLocation: Shepshed, LE12Salary: TBDHours: Full time, 38 hours a weekMonday to Thursday 8:30am5pm and Friday 8:30am3pmPermanent RoleDo you have a keen interest in IT and computers Have you completed an IT A-Level, diploma, or degree Are you seeking an entry-level role into ITFlowers Associates are currently seeking a A-Level, College, or University leaver to join a reputable company based in Shepshed as an Entry-Level IT Technician.The RoleTo support and maintain the IT systems of the company, ensuring all users gain maximum benefit from the IT provisions.The successful Entry-Level IT Technician will be responsible for the following duties: Instal and configure IT and communication systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. Diagnose hardware and software faults, remotely, over the telephone or in person. Diagnose and solve technical and application problems, using external partners if required. Undertake necessary planned maintenance and upgrades. Prepare logins, email addresses, etc as well as IT equipment for new users ahead of them joining the company. Actively participate in the delivery of major projects including but not limited to mobile and fixed line telephony, rollout of new hardware solutions, software upgrades and improvements to communications such as wired and wireless networks. Document and troubleshoot measures. Provide all business partners with a one point of contact helpdesk for all IT queries. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve any processes and procedures. Any other ad-hoq tasks required.The ideal Candidate will:Have a keen interest in IT as well as have completed an A-Level, Diploma or Degree in IT. It is essential for the candidate to have practical experience of using Microsoft packages as well as Microsoft Teams.
