An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join a world leading, privately owned company who specialise in the design & manufacture of scientific instrumentation based in Cambridgeshire.As the Procurement Manager based in Cambridgeshire, you will report into the CEO and will be responsible for managing the procurement function and the sourcing of components in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for managing stock movements, managing supplier negotiations, maintaining a contract management system and running supplier meetings and reviews with purchasing/quality/suppliers to advise on any general or quality issues and work on forecasts. The ideal Procurement Manager, based in Cambridgeshire will have experience in a similar role with a background in both complex low volume and higher volume supply chain, along with evidence of involvement in driving improvement.
