Job Description

Role Summary:Responsible for the daily operations and customer services of our Parkgate residential development, in Birmingham, near the airport. Ensuring the smooth running of the building and that all the resident services are carried out to an exceptionally high standardand are delivered timely, accurately and in a cost effective manner. To act as the face of the development for the residents, managing the team and enhancing the overall customer experience.Responsibilities for our Property Manager include:Property Management:

  • To deliver all aspects of the Property Management Schedule (PMS), ensuring that all objectives are met.
  • Complete site inspections - Be proactive.
  • Guide on-site team to ensure 5* brand standard compliance.
  • To ensure resident/contractor/landlord compliance - Be legal.
  • Cost effective budget & team resource management
Resident Engagement:
  • Be the face of the operation. Be seen. Be available.
  • Lead a culture of nothing is too much through the operational team. Feedback is key but solutions are paramount.
  • Secure a strong retention amongst your residents - driving occupancy
Health and Safety:
  • Gatekeeper to all legal H&S documentation.
  • To lead a team that recognises the need for operational compliance and where necessary we challenge process to drive even greater compliance.
People Management:
  • To be the person who lives and breathes the values of our business.Be inspirational and encourage development and innovation.
  • Be proactive in your approach to succession planning.
The ideal Property Manager will have:
  • Min 2 years experience within the property management arena.
  • Previous leasehold experience is essential
  • Significant experience of delivering excellent customer service and effective supplier management
  • Organisation skills and time management, with a close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong negotiating and Influencer skills
  • Relationship manager across a range of stakeholders
  • Effective planning, prioritising and decision making skills.
