Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing’s Skilled Shop Floor Team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our client, Orchid Orthopedic, based in the heart of Sheffield’s manufacturing community.Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing for the orthopedic and medical device markets, including joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, sports medicine, extremities and dental. With 10 world-class facilities located aroundthe globe, Orchid continues to provide others an opportunity to live longer, more active lives through their products and services.Their Sheffield facility, based off the Sheffield Parkway, comprises a Forge, Foundry, and CNC Machining and Finishing processes. Although experience in these areas would be an advantage, they are also looking for enthusiastic individuals from other industries who may have transferrable skills relevant to the role.They are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role;Wax OperatorWorking hours:3 shiftsWeek 1 – Monday – Thursday 6am - 2pmWeek 2 – Monday – Friday 2pm- 10pmWeek 3 - Monday - Friday 10pm- 6amHourly Rate:£11.33 -£11.96 + 17% shift allowance on night shiftsOverview of the role of a Wax Operator :
