Job Description

Pertemps are excited to be recruiting hard-working and enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives for our globally recognised client, at their head quarters in Sheffield.You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:30pm, with an hour break throughout the course of the day.

  • Processing, picking and packaging orders in a timely manner, working to firm targets.
  • Handling and manually unloading shipping containers when required.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using sound manual handling techniques.
  • Using computer systems Including barcode scanning equipment to process orders and maintain accurate levels of stock and inventory.
  • Re-working and re-labelling products to meet customers requirements.
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy at all times.
Successful Candidates:
  • Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
  • Will have the ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • Will have a flexible attitude to work and working hours
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Will be a team player with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Counterbalance, Reach and/or VNA Forklift Truck qualifications are not essential, although they are advantageous.Your rate of pay will be £10.50 per hour, with overtime being paid at time and a half.Please apply today with your CV to register your interest, or alternatively, call and ask for Amy.
