Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Transport Assistant to work for our client based in Sheffield.This is a new, permanent role to work within a small office/team of 2 Transport Assistants, and will assist with the day to day running of the Transport department in order to support a busy product yard.The main responsibilities of the role will include:-*Organising customer orders into dates*Monitoring the number of deliveries carried out each day*Organising picking tickets for picking in both yards*Receiving picking tickets and updating the Counteract System when orders are picked and ready for delivery*When needed, change customer orders to show stock availability or change to alternative product*Transport scheduling holiday coverElevation would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:-*Knowledge of building materials would be beneficial.*Excellent Microsoft software skills, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Explorer*Good analytical ability and practical, hands on disposition*Full, clean driving license*Must be able to gain credibility amongst a wide range of external and internal customers*Ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines*Excellent communication skills, both verbal, including on the telephone and written*Self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to solve problems at source*Excellent organisation skills and good time management*Self-driven, genuine with a positive attitude and clear focus*Flexible*Good Attention to DetailElevation Business Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on the recruitment of talented Business Support professionals across all levels.
