Position : Trainer / Adviser / Consultant Sector : Manufacturing, productionLocation : Home based ideally in the Yorkshire regionSalary : Negotiable according to experience, likely to be £40,000 to £55,000About the company :A family-owned SME which is building an enviable reputation for delivering quality specialist training, learning and development to a variety of engineering and manufacturing industries worldwide. Due to the customer base being international, a degree of flexibility will be essential to enable you to work across multiple time zones. About the role : You will be delivering industry specific training to third party, paying customers. This may be via Zoom, MS Teams, other remote methods or face to face (depending on numbers, locations, restrictions etc)Requirments Proficient in the following:• All aspects of production and manufacturing measurement metricso OTIF, OEE, Takt Times, Cycle times, SMED, Quality, Scrap, WIP turns, Return on Assets, EBITDA, unit contribution margin, productivity per employee, Yield, quality etc• Automation of production and manufacturing• Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing 5s, 5 WHYS, KANBAN, Kaizen, Gemba, Six Sigma, 8d, root cause analysis, DMAIC, value stream mapping• Health and Safety• FMEA• Production planning• Up to date with the latest developments in production processed and equipment About You : • Degree Qualified in a relevant engineering subject (Production, Manufacturing etc) • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status preferred • Certified in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement eg Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt or similar• Strong experience of production and manufacturing in a variety of industry sectors. Has technical knowledge in the key areas of manufacturing processes• Any experience of delivering training is very much preferred. This may be in a formal L&D situation or in a one-to-one situation as a Mentor• Able to communicate clearly and concisely (including to an audience who may not be working in their first language
