Job Description

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Wood Machinist to join our client based in Sheffield S9.

  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and 7:30am to 1:30pm on Fridays.
  • Pay: £11.12 per hour
  • Contract: Temp to perm
You will be required to read, follow and understand detailed production drawings/plans to exact specifications while working to minimal tolerances. You will be responsible for the manufacture of joinery components using various timber-based materials includinghardwood/softwood, veneered & laminate panels.We are looking for someone with the skills and the ability to problem-solve when faced with challenges.Previous experience of operating the following woodworking machines would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided: * Dimension Saw* Drum Sander* Planer & Thicknesser* Spindle Moulder* Cross-Cut Saw* 4-Sided Planner / Moulder* Mortiser Machine* Tenon Machine * Band SawPro-Found Recruitment are an employment business and equal opportunities employer.
