Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a number of Local Track and Trace Contact Tracing call handlers to cover the Sheffield area.This is a very important role in the help to disrupt the community transmission of the virus by breaking the chain of transmission between individuals by contacting members of the public who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and identifying other who they have been in contact with.These contacts with then also be provided with health protection advice including the need to self-isolate.To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Building rapport is essential in this role as you will be advising members of the public to potentially miss out on income due to time off from work in order to protect their health and others around them.To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience of delivering a high-performance customer focussed service
  • Have excellent ICT skills to directly input data accurately whilst holding a telephone conversation
  • Be able to demonstrate building excellent relationships with customers and the public
  • Show empathy and be able to build rapport
  • Be available to work on a rota which is 4 on and 4 off (10am to 6pm on week days, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sundays)
  • It is highly advantageous to have previous track and trace/contact tracing experience.
  • If you have experience of speaking a second language to English this would be adventitious (please ensure this is highlighted on your CV too)
    • These roles are to start ASAP and will initially be until 31st March 2021.A fantastic hourly rate of £13 per hour is on offer. You will be working from home and we will provide the equipment, training and support you need to be able to do the job from home.
